The BioRotix overtop cultivator is specially designed for easy incorporation of old turf, making it ready for new sod, incorporation of a green manure or creating a seedbed.
The rotor of the BioRotix overtop cultivator features 132 widia hooks rotating against the direction of travel. The hooks open the top layer of the soil in small bites and work up to 16 cm deep. This ensures an airy top layer while the underlying layers retain their capillary action. This is very important: even during abundant rain, water can penetrate well into the deeper soil layers.
The hooks are mounted in a wildflower pattern for optimal soil distribution without jacking.
The rotor throws the soil up against an adjustable spring steel bar rack. Here the clods and crop residues are stopped, they fall directly into the bottom of the seedbed and are covered by a layer of finer soil over it: the basis for a perfect seedbed.
The far back side plates and the specially shaped flat drag plate keep the soil well contained.

De BioRotix overtopfrees is speciaal ontwikkeld voor het eenvoudig onderwerken van oude graszoden, het zaaiklaar maken voor nieuwe zoden, het inwerken van een groenbemester of het creëren van een zaaibed.
De rotor van de BioRotix overtopfrees is voorzien van 132 widia haken draait tegen de rijrichting in. De haken openen de toplaag van de bodem in kleine hapjes en werken tot maximaal 16 cm diep. Dit zorgt voor een luchtige toplaag terwijl de onderliggende lagen hun capillaire werking behouden. Dat is heel belangrijk: ook bij overvloedige regen kan het water goed doordringen in de diepere grondlagen.
De haken zijn in wildverband gemonteerd voor een optimale grondverdeling zonder vijzelwerking.
De rotor werpt de grond omhoog tegen een instelbaar spijlenrek van verenstaal. Hier worden de kluiten en gewasresten tegengehouden, ze vallen direct onderin het zaaibed en worden bedekt met een laag fijnere grond er overheen: de basis voor een perfect zaaibed.
De ver naar achteren doorlopende zijplaten en de speciaal gevormde vlaksleepplaat houden de grond goed opgesloten.
