New cab on Horsch Leeb sprayers

The cab on the latest Horsch Leeb PT and VT self-propelled sprayers is not only more spacious and quieter but is also said to take operator comfort to new high levels.Previewed at Agritechnica last November, the VT was the first self-propelled sprayer to feature the latest Claas cab. Fitted with an advanced A-column terminal as standard, the armrest and joystick control systems were designed by Leeb.“Traditionally, self-propelled sprayers have lagged behind tractors in cab comfort,” comments Stephen Burcham, general manager for Horsch UK, who adds that the new cab takes operator comfort to the highest level.This additional comfort includes Category IV filtration (standard), and operators seeking an even comfier ride might like to know that a four-point pneumatic cab suspension is an option.At the European press launch of the VT last autumn, it was hinted that the variable track width (1.8-2.4m) could appeal to contractors in the UK who are dealing with different wheelings.The 5,000l (230hp) model is the smallest self-propelled to be made by the German firm.
