More power for New Holland T8

New Holland has given its Racine-built T8 Genesis tractors a bit of a makeover for 2025. The updated models are said to offer the same look and feel, but then with more power. The new models: the T8.325, T8.355, T8.385, T8.415 and T8.440 (main picture), use the same FPT six-pot Cursor 9 Stage V motor as the current models (T8.320, T8.350, T8.380, T8.410 and T8.435), but then with a 5.0-15hp rated power increase (depending on model).“Our customers continue to seek more power and performance from their tractors without having to change the body or framework. In a sense, get stronger without getting bigger,” says Ken Paul, product marketing manager, high horsepower tractors for New Holland.Tweaks to the engine software are said to improve fuel efficiency, and next year’s models gain new hydraulic remote valves and couplers. We will have to wait and see if there are any other changes. The order books open sometime Q2 in North America with deliveries of the new T8s starting from the autumn. It has not yet been communicated when the three models currently available in the UK (T8.410, 8.435 and T8.435 SmartTrax) will be replaced by the new models. We must assume that this will be sometime in the autumn. For more up-to-date farming news click here and subscribe now to profi and save 47%.Share this: TwitterFacebookRedditWhatsApp Steven Vale
