New tech for Pöttinger Plano

New tools for the Pöttinger Plano trailed shallow cultivator include a heavy-duty harrow and spiral spring tines. One of the most important new tools on the Plano, which is suitable for mechanical weed control, seedbed preparation, medium-depth tillage down to 15cm, and incorporating cover crops, are the heavy-duty tines. Deployed instead of the rear roller, the tines are configured to form a three-row harrow that spreads residue and leave a loose, non-consolidated finish. Said to be a useful tool when cultivating grass and cover crops, a quick-change system allows the tines and rear roller to be swapped, and the harrow folds hydraulically to the rear to clear blockages without stopping.Offered an alternative to the pre-tensioned tines, the new spiral spring tines are suitable for light to medium-heavy soils and for seedbed preparation. Their sweeping geometry is designed to allow large volumes of organic matter to pass through, and the oscillating effect provides a finely crumbled tilth.Track eradicating tines are a new option. The wear-resistant Durastar Plus duck foot shares have a width of 220mm.For more up-to-date farming news click here and subscribe now to profi and save 47%. .scriptlesssocialsharing__buttons a.button { padding: 12px; flex: 1; }@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .scriptlesssocialsharing .sss-name { position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px); height: 1px; width: 1px; border: 0; overflow: hidden; } }Share this post:Share on X (Twitter)Share on FacebookShare on PinterestShare on LinkedInShare on Email Profi Team
